LAB 1: Listening and Caring Skills

In this 40-hour workshop participants will learn & develop 11 listening skills including: behavior description,  direct expression of feelings, paraphrase, perception check, productive questions, and life commandments. 

Participants will learn interviewing techniques which will help them get to the real issues as they become astute, sensitive, and caring listeners and observers.  Participants will learn how to deal with criticism and turn negativity into useful feedback. 

This training is essential for church leaders, counselors, management, human resource managers, personnel staff, and medical staff.
