Continuing Education Acceditation

Continuing Education Accreditation has been approved for ministers and deacons who participate in Faith ALIVE Journey activities.

The fields available in CE are : Spiritual Growth, Biblical Studies, Theology and Church History, Practise of Ministry, and Society and Culture.

How are these relevant to the Faith ALIVE Journey courses?

1. For attendance in the Briefing Day - 4 points in Practise of Ministry

2. For participating in the Trainers Workshop – 4 points in Practise of Ministry
Deans of courses would receive an additional four points for their preparation for the trainers workshop,

3. For leading a six-session course in a congregation – 12 points in the following field, namely:

a. Streams of Life, The Hope Discovery Tour, The Purpose Driven Life – Spiritual Growth

b. Open Heart Open Home, Mentoring for Discipleship, Pray For Me, - Practise of Ministry

c. Tracing Journeys – Society and Culture

4. For participating in a six session course in a congregation – 6 points in the fields above.
If the course you run has less sessions, the accreditation is on the basis of one point for each session of 75-90 minutes.

5. For participants in the whole Worship conference – 6 points in Practise of Ministry.

6. The points for Careforce Recovery are:
Introductory workshop – one point per session.
Participation in ten sessions of the course – ten points in Spiritual Growth
Participation in Facilitators Training Course – 7 points in Practise of Ministry
When facilitating a course – ten points in Spiritual Growth for leading all ten sessions ( points for the preparation have already been awarded in the Facilitators Training Course above).

A Statement of Participation will be issued to each participant who nominates that they wish to recieve same.
